6th June - After Jawahar Tunnel - Titanic View Point
A lot of tourist at this place
We meet some from Maharashtra they are surprised at seeing MH motorcycles discussing among themselves what passion they must be having. Wondering at our gear atleast i was looking like an alien to them with my Helmet shouting at the top of its voice look at me :P. Somewhere inside i am actually laughing and enjoying the extra attention and having fun. Eventually one of them comes up and shakes hand and passes the regular pleasantries. while parting they also have advice for us like drive safe do not hurry take it easy, one of them even adds why we aren't using hard boxes as carriers etc etc.
6th June - Srinagar - Shalimar Gardens
We were not very enthusiastic about visiting the gardens but had some time to kill, so we finally finding some place to park our steeds entered Shalimar Garden. My mood was not quite upbeat as i was hungry and also had problems with my tail light and headlight both which had created big problems before reaching Srinagar as we were driving at night. We entered and found it to be pretty well maintained a lot of family public tourists of-course spread all across the dept and breadth of the garden. It definitely was a place for lovebirds, family's and newly weds we were pretty much feeling out of place.
6th June - Srinagar - Around Dal Lake
Here we are going around the Dal Lake actually its me running ahead pulling the other 2 in tow looking for a mechanic who could fix my headlight assembly and tail lights.
6th June - Srinagar - Shankaracharya Temple
On the way down from the temple we get this marvelous view of the Dal Lake. You can see from here the shikaras and the house boats spread all over the Dal.
